In 1934 the U.S. Caramel Co. made a series of President cards (R114 in the ACC). There was a contest where if you sent in a complete run of 31 cards you could get a one pound box of chocolates. Not wanting to give away too many prizes the company severly short printed the McKinley card making it one of the rarest and most desirable cards from this era. Only a few examples are known. Here is your chance to fill that pesky hole in your collection with a special version of the card. This is a quality limted edition (only 250 were made) reprint (clearly marked) of this ultra rare card printed on a thick 30's style stock . When they printed the cards originally they came in 3 colors - Orange, Red and Blue. However, no Blue Mckinley has ever been found. So you get this RARE card in all 3 colors to match the rest of your set. As a special bonus - you will also receive this ERROR Red/Orange card (so you get a total of 4 cards): |
